Product Description

1. Power Source

• Electric Motor (most common): Typically single-phase or three-phase motors.

  • Power Rating: Usually 2 HP to 5 HP (Horsepower), depending on the lifting capacity.

  • Voltage: 220V (single-phase) or 415V (three-phase).

• Diesel Engine (in remote/off-grid sites): Used where electricity isn't available.

2. Lifting Mechanism

• Wire Rope Drum or Chain Drive: Driven by the motor, it winds or unwinds the wire rope or chain attached to the load-carrying platform or cage.

• Gearbox: Transfers and multiplies torque from the motor to lift heavy loads.

3. Load Capacity

• Ranges from 300 kg to 1000 kg depending on the design.

• Typically designed to lift cement bags, bricks, sand buckets, etc.

4. Lifting Height

• Generally used for 3 to 10 stories, but can be customized for more.

• Lift speed is around 1020 meters per minute.

5. Control System

• Manual Pendant Control or Remote Switch to control lifting and lowering.

• Includes emergency stop and safety limit switches.

6. Safety Features

• Overload Protection

• Brake System: Electromagnetic or mechanical brake to hold the load in place when stopped.

• Limit Switches: Prevent over-travel of the hoist.
